Description

We offer you the only 5 lug with E36 M3 brake conversion kit of the entire world ! This will upgrade the rotor size from the 258mm non-vented E30 rotors to 312mm very vented M3 rotors.

Note: The parking brake will not work anymore !

Instruction:
-Remove the 4 lug hubs
-Press in the 5 lug hubs
-Install the adapter plates
-Bolt on your new rotors
-Bolt on your new calipers

*Some adjustment may be required – Professional installation is highly recommended.

Questions and answers of the customers

  1. Q Which dust shield/backing plate would best fit with this upgrade? I already purchased this kit and it is an E30 M3 with the supplied hubs, E36 M3 calipers, E36 rotors, and E46 506 caliper brackets. My understanding is that should retain the function of the parking brake with this set up?
    A The extrem version that is for E36 M3 brakes, will not retain the parking brake functionality, but a custom set of shoes can be done to adapt the E30 mechanism to the outer diameter of the M3.
  2. Q I purchased this kit thinking 2.5 Z3 rear rotor would fit but it does not. yet the product page says z3 fits. please advise.
    A Hi, its stated that you can install E36M or Z3M on the E30 trailing arms. There is no problems if you ordered the wrong part, we can replace it, please send us an email !
  3. Q In the extreme kit you also mention Z3. If I go with a 2.5 Z3 rear brakes and hubs will the parking brake work..
    A We mention the Z3M ( not the non-m versions because they have a really different offset ). For the upgrades on Z3 you can contact us and we will make you a custom one on your needs.
  4. Q Would these hub work as front hubs in a 325ix e30?
    A We never had the chance to take measurements of the front bearing/hubs of a AWD E30 unfortunately. But one thing is sure, these rear hubs will not fit at the front. The axles do not have the same splines.
  5. Q Would I use the original E30 parking brake using the E46 rotors and caliper carriers mentioned above to utilize E36 M3 brakes?
    A Do you mean, slide a E36 M3 caliper over a E46 ( 506 ) caliper bracket ? If yes, then yes it will work !
  6. Q What is the difference between this “extreme” kit and the other kit?
    A Simple, two different receipt, you can mix M and non-M parts in the same setup. You can do both receipt with the same kit by the way !
  7. Q I would like to know what I would need to do to use the hand brake with this setup. I already have your e46 big brake setup but would like to go extreme and keep an e-brake.
    A A custom modification of the parking brake shoes is needed, contact us directly, we working on a prototype !
  8. Q My e30 has e30 m3 rear hubs. Will the adapters work with these?
    A Yes, the hub offset is the same. The only thing is your parking brake will not stay functional unless few modifications.
  9. Q Does this kit come with the bearings
    A Hi, It only come with hubs, because you can normally re-use your original bearings.
  10. Q will these hubs work with 84-85 e30 rear trailing arms?
    A We will ask you to verify the size of the inner diameter of your rear wheel bearings. Some have a smaller diameter. We can provide custom hubs to fit in these particular BMW on request.
  11. Q Can I install this rear kit on a e36 compact ?

  12. Q The hubs from e46 have the same inner race diameter as e30? Can i use e36 hubs with e46 brake/rotor?
    A They can have the same bearing size but not the same offset. So the rotors will not been positioned at the same distance from the caliper mounting ears on the trailing arms.
  13. Q If I want a parking break with this set up. Can I just use the E36 m3 rear parking break?
    A No, the parking brake shoes need to be guided and hold by a certain shape and pattern. The M3 brake shoes are really much bigger than the originally installed on the E30. You can still use E46 ( 325i ) rotors, E46 caliper carriers ( #506 casting number ) and installing the E36 M3 calipers on it. That way will retain the parking brake fully functional.
  14. Q Hello, I saw that the other kit increased the width by 1,5 mm on each side compared to a original rear axle. How is it with this kit? The same or more?
    A Its exactly the same. These two kit are the same parts. We separate two different way to achieve rear 5 lugs conversion to avoid people to mix M3 parts with non-M. There is 2 way to make it and they can't be mixed. The Extreme way is for M3 brake parts but the parking brake is not compatible. So we made a similar size brake adapter ''normal 5 lugs adapter kit'' that will keep fully functional the original parking brake in it with non-M parts.
  15. Q If i have z3 trailing arms well this work to adapt to m3 brakes
    A They have some different models of trailing arms depending on which engine you have. Contact us. We can do some research for you !
