If you want to swap to 5 lug on your e30 you need this kit to add caster ( place the wheel in the center of the front fender ).

FIT ON BMW E30 ( 318, 325, i, is, e, es ) and more !

Do you want to do a 5 lugs conversion on your 4 lug e30 by using e36 5 lug but there you have a problem … With standard e36 knuckles and control arms your front wheels are not centred in the arch !! To center the wheel in the arch you have to buy offset control arm bushings and 2 new 1996+ e36 m3 control arms that will cost you up to 500$ if you can still find evo’s arms !!! This kit will let you use e36 non-M or M3 complete knuckle assemblies on your e30 control arms.

This is the only affordable solution !! 100% bolt on !!

Instruction:
-You can see a step by step installation process of this kit HERE.

Parts required for the Front End:
-Complete e36 front knuckles with brake calipers, rotor, hub assembly, wheel, and coilover.
-Stock e30 control arms or e36 non-m3 control arms ( they have the same geometry ). You can also use e46 control arms and grind down the hexagonal control arm bushing end to make it round.
-Use your stock e30 shock top plate and install them on the E36 struts or drill 2 holes on your shock towers to keep the e36 top plates.
-Bolt everything in place, connect all brake lines, bleed your brakes.
-Take a ride !
-This kit is made from steel for the housing, oiled brass for the bushing and then powder coated.

For every one that don’t want to spend all his money to buy new and ultra rare parts ( now discontinued by the dealer ! )

*Please ensure that you having exactly 20mm diameter at the end of the control that slides into the bushing, some aftermarket control arms may have thick paint that needs sanded off to properly fit into the control arm bushing, please sand the paint down prior installing this kit! The sleeves are designed for moving with the control arm to ensure proper wear protection. They can’t move properly if you force them on, so please sand the end of the control arm to be 20mm in diameter.

    The overall product is very good. I believe that this product deserves a 4 star rating due to inconsistencies in the two pieces, but the quality of the finish on these bushings is top notch. One bushing had an almost excessive amount of play between the bushing and the housing, and the dowell recesses were too large. Overall a very good product. I will continue to recommend to future customers.

  2. Q Bonjour, J'ai pour l'instant une fusée de E36 M3 euro, ma question est la suivante : quel amortisseur ou combinés filetés puis-je monter ? E36 non M ou pour M ? Si finalement je pars sur du E36 non M, je monte tout du non M et là pas de soucis, j'ai juste ? Merci par avance.
    A Bonjour, tout l'assemblage M3 est compatible, et même viendra aider pour l'ajustement de la geometry. Car les version M ont des ressort plus petit en diamètre. Donc il sera possible de positionner le cambrage au specification du E30 en ayant des amortisseur du type OEM. Nous avons une solution pour la plateau du haut, laisse nous un message par courriel si tu veux avoir plus de details a ce sujet !
  3. Q Do i need camber plates with this kit or running the stock e30 shock mount will keep the stock camber?
    A You will need adjustable top plates, but we also have a special plate that let you use OEM rubber mounts at the correct position, contact us !
  4. Q How much increase on offset does this push out the hub from factory? Cheers
    A For the front it depend on the knuckle models you choose but generally around 15mm

    A It depend on the knuckles models you plan to use but around 15mm on the front
  6. Q If is use the e46 from comtrol arm, does that mean i can use the e46 rotors and brake calipers,hun and coilover strut set up?
    A If you use E46 control arms, you have to make then shave down to a round 20mm shape. After that, the castor and knuckles will not change the fact that you can use any model on the spindle on these arms, they all fit. But The camber will change since they are 1inch longer on each side. You can use both E36 and E46 knuckles on these arms, the only thing will be the struts and wheels configuration that will be think to suit your need.

    A It depend on many factors, what fitment do you want ? what diameter of wheels do you want ? What E36 front knuckles model do you want ? For the front, the E36 spindles are generally 15mm larger but the rear stay the same as E30. Contact us for more precise infos !

    A Hi, yes they are expressly made for that only purpose.
  9. Q I'm with fitment problems in the left control arm bushing, the right side it was easy to change, but the left it's impossible to get in.. It's possible to have some defect in the peace?
    A Our bushing are all near identical ( they are all inspected one by one before the assembly ). To know if the insert have a problem is to try it on the other side, or measure the control arm to be sure it really have 20mm not 20.1mm, this is really important to verify.

    A The front increase a little but the rear stay the same.
  12. Q Can I use Z3 front suspension parts for this?
    A Yes, as the Z3's use the E36 front suspension components.
  13. Q Is there any way to make these work on a M62B44 converted E30 that has the 20mm subframe spacer fitted? It's altered the angle slightly and now the mount doesn't sit parallel to the chassis rail. When it's tightened up it puts extra stress on the brass bush.
    A We may need to make you a custom set with the corrected angle build in directly. Please contact us for this particular inquiry.
  14. Q Will these work with a 95 m3 spindle?
    A Yes of course, it fit any models of E36 front spindles.
  15. Q Will this also work with E46 knuckles? For some reason I think their geometry is the same as E36. Am I wrong?
    A Some guys try this and seems to work as its supposed. But we don't test this method here yet to be 100% sure about how it fit.
  16. Q How much more caster is offered with these over going with offset control arm bushings ?
    A Hi, it offer about the double compared to normal offset bushings

    A We will need a little more precision about what model of European you talking about. If you talking about euro E36 yes it will fit.
  18. Q Im putting 300 hp on my bmw will the kit hold up?
    A Yes absolutely ! There is no problems holding 300hp. This kit is constantly tested in the most extrem conditions and never break.
  19. Q Does this have any abs related requirements or issues?
    A The E36 ABS ring have the same number of signal per turn than the E30, The only thing is you have to change the E36 connector of the sensor to plug on your E30 system.
  20. Q People say you can’t run non M everything?
    A You can use the E36 non-M parts for sure ! It was designed for this purpose.
  21. Q I have now a problem with a terrible noise from one of the E30 Bolt on 5 lug front conversion. I take everything apart before installing, and put on grease on all the parts, and also put in a nipple for greasepump.

    A Yes you can fit E36 control arms for sure ! They have the same 20mm round end and they have the same geometry ( except for the E36 M3 96+ ).

    A Yes the caster will be around 8-10deg. You can still adjust the shock top plates if you want more or less degrees.

  27. Q I'm using e36 shocks onto the stock e30 strut tower to bolt on. The description asked to use my e30 top plate I don't understand. I'm using e36 everything on the strut housing. Where do I drill 2 holes for e36 top plates?
    A You can put E30 top plates on E36 front shock. They are compatible, but the pattern is not the same. The E30 pattern is not an equidistant triangle and the E36 yes. If you want to keep the E36 top plates ( like if you have a coilovers kit ) You will have to re-drill the good pattern on the car strut towers. ( You can re-drill the coilovers top plate too if you have access to a machine shop ).
  28. Q Do these bushings will put some wear my control arms ?
    A No, in fact, these adapters wearing by inside. All the friction is between the housing and the sleeves. The arms will turn with the sleeves.
