Description

For everyone that wants more room in their engine bay for looks or a engine swap this part is for you. With manual brakes it is still going to stop like you would expect, the pedal will just be firm, like a motorcycle, ATV or bicycle. The fact is you will push the brake fluid yourself instead of the booster amplifying the pressure you put on the brake pedal. Properly set up manual brakes like in this kit does not feel like a broken booster or when you shut your car off and pump the brakes. A broken or disconnected booster doesn’t let you push the master cylinder, you are pushing against a hard spring that is rated to hold between 20 and 50 lb/in2 of negative psi. This is why the brakes are so hard when you have a non functional brake booster and why some people are afraid of the booster delete kit.

The adapter plate is made of billet aircraft T6 aluminum

  1. Q Does this work with RHD E30 thanks
    A Hi, yes it fit !
  2. Q Would this fit a E30 M60 swap ?
    A Normally yes, we do not have pictures of the final result of this engine in a E30 but couple of customers done that conversion for this setup.
  3. Q Does this kit change the pedal ratio at all or is it still the stock 4:1 ratio?
    A Its the same ratio, it can handle ratio change if you plan to modify the mounting point of the clevis directly on the pedal.
  4. Q I have e36 m3 front brakes on my e30, do i need a different master cylinder?
    A Normally not, this is hydraulic, if your calipers do not retracting, the oil amount needed to transfer pressure on the pads is really small.
  5. Q Will this work with ABS?
    A Yes, you just have to plug it as usual in the same hose than original. The ABS will keep running because it will be feed by the same pressure.
  6. Q Does this kit come with everything I need to complete the job? How do you get your brake bias set properly?
    A This kit came with everything to be ''bolt on''. We provide you the necessary hardware. For the bias, you normally keep your original proportioning valve ( mounted on the side of the left frame rail ). The Bias is not changed unless you re-do the entire system.
  7. Q Is the 5/8 brakecylinder big enough for BMW e46 330 brakes?
    A Yes, in the worst case, you can use a 2psi residual pressure valve to keep the calipers primed. ( if your calipers have a tendance to retracting ).
  8. Q 5/8 mc is not too small ? The oem is ~7/8 , put a 7/8 will be too hard to push?
    A The OEM 7/8'' is calibrated to work with a spring assisted with a vacuum cushioned behind it. You can't compress oil, the movement of your pedal in an assisted brake system is not the same calculation. The brake booster work as a % of a movement of the pedal and the brake booster delete kit work like a ''direct drive'' system. They act the same as an ATV or a motorcycle or race cars. You don't need a big bore master cylinder to be more like the OEM size because its not the same principle.
